Brittney and Oliver were married at The Bell Tower on 34th back in July. Instead of going with a specific theme for their wedding day, they chose to focus on their love of God by incorporating Biblical scripture throughout the day. From the framed Bible verse where guests entered, to the many scriptures that were read during the ceremony and reception, it was important to them to share how they were not only exchanging vows but also being united in Christ. Their cake even had their favorite Bible verse inscribed on it with icing.
The couple also chose to add a sentimental touch to their wedding day by including a few personal touches. The bride’s wedding veil was the second layer of her mother’s three-layered veil from when she was married 32 years ago. Brittney chose champagne as one of her colors because Oliver proposed to her with a champagne diamond ring. His ring also has champagne diamonds in it and is shaped like a basketball, which was another personal touch, along with the groom’s cake, which had jerseys from some of the couple’s favorite teams.
